Baal Worship In Modern Christian Churches

Baal Worship In Modern Christian Churches

Christian churches across the breadth of the earth are unknowingly following a false way. Many of their traditions are comparable to Baal worship mentioned in scripture. This is a very sad truth that is a tough thing to acknowledge at first. However it is irrefutable when looking at the word of God; then comparing God's word to the traditions that are highly esteemed in almost all Christian churches.

Luke 16:15 KJV  And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

The wisdom of this world does not matter if the word of God says something different. And yes that is what it is to believe in God, to believe in and trust the word of God as the final authority.

Romans 15:4 KJV For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Another verse to consider that was not in the study regarding Jeroboam serving Baal and raising children of Belial...

2 Chronicles 13:6-7 KJV  Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, is risen up, and hath rebelled against his lord.  (7)  And there are gathered unto him vain men, the children of Belial, and have strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tenderhearted, and could not withstand them.

To others that did not go according to scripture, nor seek to the Lord GOD for guidance according to his word. They saw Baal and Yahweh as the same God as the Lord God Almighty, because they also worshipped him in Israel. (even if in the mountains and not the dedicated place by the Lord, making no separation after the word of God, but only going by their own thoughts.)

2 Chronicles 32:12 KJV Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?
