CHARITY BEARETH, BELIEVETH, HOPETH & ENDURETH ALL THINGS: chapter XI

What is it for a Christian to have charity?

This has been the main question throughout this series of video bible studies. And through eleven chapters, twelve total videos with an introduction, we should have a good understanding to answer now. True charity for a Christian is to bear your own and another's burden while enduring all things this world throws at you. As Charity never fails, but several things that can help edify another can cease and vanish away.

1 Corinthians 13:8 KJV  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

And so we should endure to have the charity required of us as born again believers to have the bond of perfectness as written in Colossians 3:14. And a big part in enduring is where your belief and hope is... if it is not in Christ the anxieties of the world will grow to overwhelm us. In this we can also understand why the word of God tells us to be thankful in all things and in whatsoever state we are in.

Colossians 3:15 KJV  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Timothy 6:8 KJV  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Philippians 4:11 KJV  Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

And looking back at the first part of charity to suffer long this plays a part with being content and being thankful. Just as well as not thinking evil or being easily provoked, getting puffed up even. So as we look at true charity, as it is written in the word of God, we can see how these final few aspects of Charity define the terms to be met by us wherein also many fall short.

1 Corinthians 13:7 KJV  Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

And in this video Bible study we will outline through the scriptures with the scriptures just what it is to bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, and endure all things.
