Debunking Common False Teachings
In this study we will be looking at a few fables that get held forth as truth in various groups of faith. Each of these fables are debunked by the word of God very simply and often in the same passage of scripture wherein they are twisted by mans imagination.
... Many come to God, to find hidden truth ...
... In this, looking passed simplicity already written ...
Romans 3:10-11 KJV
(10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
(11) There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
... We should not add our imaginations to scripture ...
Proverbs 30:5-6 KJV
(5) Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
(6) Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
... And we should not chase vain imaginations ...
Titus 1:14 KJV
Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
... Having a more sure word to heed to ...
2 Peter 1:19-20 KJV
(19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
(20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
6 common Fables Easily debunked, yea seven is using other perversions of the word of God Then the KJV.
(If your version of the scriptures says God was not known by his name "Lord" to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in Exodus 6:3 then it is lying to you. Compare and check Genesis 18:27-33, 26:22, 28:13 in that same perversion to understand it is lying to you. Also if the perversion makes Jesus lie in John 7:8 compared to 7:10 is another telling way that you have a corrupted version of the scriptures which lies to you the reader.)
- Gap Theory
the claim that there is hundreds, thousands, or millions even billions of years between each day of creation in Genesis 1. this supposing it is impossible for all things that exist to have been created in a literal 7 days.
Well to start yes with man it is impossible but with God all things are possible Matthew 19:26.
And more to the point in day three God made the trees and the grass according to scripture in Genesis 1:11-13. And the sun was created in day four as in Genesis 1:14-19. So it is scientifically impossible for the order of creation according to scripture to have even hundreds of years in between each day of creation.
The other form of the gap theory, called the "gap fact", is even more contradictory to scripture. As it claims there was another world/earth before the one that we are on today. But Revelation 21:1 tells it plainly that we are on the first earth as it is not done away with until after the thousand year reign of Christ.
- So much for these gap fables, they are debunked. - The Fallen Angels & Nephilim
Here is were a lot of cooky believes come in and people get stirred away from the word of God and start chasing ancient alien theories and reading the book of Enoch rather than the word of God.
They point to how "the sons of God" in Genesis 6:1-4 mated with the daughters of men. And run with their imaginations implying these are fallen angels going against God, but Genesis 6:3 expressly tells how God is not upset with this. But in 6:5 is where we are told what God is upset with. it is the imaginations of men God is upset with which caused him to want to flood the earth (what a surprise).
Notwithstanding this point, in the following chapter it expressly tells us every one in whose nostrils was the breath of life, DIED! Look at Genesis 7:21-23, every one and everything else died that was not on the ark. So the giants like Goliath are not of the same seed as the "men of renown" from the "sons of God" before the flood.
- So the fable of the seed of Nephilim here still today from Genesis 6 is debunked. - God Is Black, Jesus Was Black & The True Israelites Are Black
Ok this is a nutty one for sure. Some try to even say God is a woman... Um, Exodus 15:3 KJV The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
Nevertheless people try to say Jesus was black by taking you to Song of Solomon 1:5-6. This is done in ignorance as this passage are describing the woman. There is a passage describing the man of Song Of Solomon in chapter 5:10-16 and here it expresses he is white and ruddy in verse 10.
The same people will try and say God in heaven is black also going to Revelation 1:15 about feet as brass, not realizing the verse just before it says his head is white. The thing here in revelation is not depicting the skin tone of God at all.
- So Jesus and God being black is a fable that is debunked. - Events Of Revelation Are Passed Already
This has to be the most unstudied thing the Catholic church and others say. The actually teach that everything in the book of revelation already happened back in the 1st century.
Ok how can Jesus rule one earth for a thousand years in one century? AS it is written in Revelation 20:4-7...
And aside from this when in the history of the earth did all the green grass across the breadth of the earth burn up? As it is written in Revelation 8:7?
You see just how unlearned and unstudied such a teaching is according to scripture?
Aside from this there is the matter of the resurrection of the body of Christ (AKA the rapture) that they say already happened, or is not happening. They are literally, according to scripture, overthrowing the faith of men...
2 Timothy 2:18 KJV "Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some."
- So the Fabel about the events of Revelation being passed already is debunked. - Post Tribulation Rapture
This is an area that really demands rightly dividing. As anyone who goes to Matthew 24 to say when the resurrection of the saints (the rapture) will be, shows plainly they have not come to Paul, the one who gives the details of the mystery of this event in scripture. Paul was given things to fulfill the word of God Colossians 1:25 so to rightly divide we must understand that this dispensation ends with an event described by Paul and not in Matthew 24.
The day of the Lord is what post tribbers are looking for... and scripture says this about looking to the day of the Lord... Amos 5:18 KJV "Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light."
And aside from this Paul tells us how we are not appointed unto wrath 3x. If God says something once it is important, he tells it twice you better take note, and tree times you are without excuse. (Remember Colossians 1:25.)
1. Romans 5:9
2. 1 Thessalonians 1:10
3.1 Thessalonians 5:9
In these three points we can understand the blessed hope we have according to Titus 2:13. And we should be looking to passages like 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 & 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 for detail of the words that comfort one another... Not terrorize one another saying we must endure to the end or perish. (2 Timothy 1:7)
- So a "rapture" after the day of the Lord is debunked - Easy Believism
So there are those who literally mock the words written in Romans 10, mainly 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." These that mock try and say it is a work to have to call upon the name of the Lord. Well it is no work of the flesh after the deeds of the law to call upon the one you believe in.
There is a simple sequence of things laid out for us here in Romans 10:14 KJV "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" You will call on him you believe in according to scripture. To not do so is only relying on your own faith, but not coming to the faith of Jesus to preform the salvation that is only of God (Colossians 2:10-12).
And if you do not call upon the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Then you are not a partaker of the saints of old in Corinth according to 1 Corinthians 1:2 KJV "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:"
Another vain argument against calling upon the name of the Lord in Romans 10:8-14 these "only believe" people will bring up is; "what about a mute How do they call upon the Lord?" Ok well how will they confess that Jesus Christ is Lord according to Philippians 2:11 rather they believe or not it is written that EVERY TONGUE SHALL CONFESS? Or is this prophecy not true for mutes? Get over it you must call on the name of the Lord to get saved after that you believe, plain and simple.
Let alone you cannot pretend that Catholics don't claim to believe or Mormons, or any other false coverts of Christianity. Are they all saved? They all have believed how Jesus died for their sins was buried and rose again the third day? Do not be so foolish it is God who saves not anyone's personal beliefs...
Matthew 7:13-14 KJV "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: (14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
- So the "you only have to believe" fable is debunked
