Established In The Word Of God
How exactly is something established in the word of God?
Well it is when something is said twice.
Some call it circular reasoning, but who is making the rules here? Is man by his own wisdom and perception of things, or is God himself the creator of it all? Who's word is perfect...
Deuteronomy 32:4 KJV He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Psalms 18:30 KJV As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Proverbs 30:5 KJV Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
God can not lie, but man can.
Hebrews 6:18 KJV That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Titus 1:2 KJV In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Romans 3:4 KJV God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
And so when God tells us something once in his word it is important. when he tells us something twice it is being established and we better take heed. And if it is brought up a third time we are without excuse.
Now lets see how this is explained through the scriptures as we go through this video Bible study.
