Evil Men Know Not What They Do
Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
Have you ever thought to yourself, "Why is this person so blind? Why can't they see the evil they are doing?"
You may have even said within yourself, "There is no hope that this person will be saved."
The word of God declares the reason plainly. They are blinded by the god of this world. They are lost and dead and cannot see what they are doing or perceive the power of darkness that is upon them.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Also, God can shut the eyes of men for a purpose.
John 12:39-40
39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
If the kings and rulers who crucified Jesus Christ had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Acts 4:26-28
26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
1 Corinthians 2:7-8
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Give glory to God, brethren, that we have been delivered from the power of darkness. Fear not and fret not when evil men come against you for the name of the Lord Jesus. They know not the Lord Jesus.
John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
There may be professing Christians who come against you for obeying the word of God and preaching righteousness. If they love God they will keep his words, but if they hate you for the word of God then they hate God.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
John 15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Colossians 1:12-13
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
