God is Jesus Christ: The Doctrine Of Christ

God is Jesus Christ: The Doctrine Of Christ

So lets start by outlining if you have Christ then you have God. This is the doctrine of Christ also known as the Godhead doctrine. The sum of it is that God is one man there is no separate persons in the word of God for the Lord. The word "persons" is used 56 times in the King James Bible (KJV) and never once is it referring to God. If you have the Son then you also have the Father also, as according to the doctrine of Christ in scripture, there is no separation.

2 John 1:9 KJV  Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

In this we can know that Jesus is God almighty. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 22:13, 16). If we separate God in to three persons then a lot of prophecy doesn't make sense. Consider how that the first mention of the capital "F" Father, is a prophecy about Jesus. Saying the name of the son given shall be The everlasting Father. And on this point as well Jesus said he is come in his Fathers name... What name did Jesus come in??? The answer is Jesus, so the Fathers name is Jesus!!!

Isaiah 9:6 KJV  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

John 5:43 KJV  I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

This is no mistake nor is it a miss use of words. The word of God means what it says and says what it means. It is of no private interpretation (2 Peter 1:20).
The foolish thing is that men who believe the Trinity can not see the plainness in scripture. Instead they ask questions like "how is Jesus seated at the right hand of the Father then?" The answer is simple; he is EXCEPTED UNTIL his enemies be made his foot stool (Acts 2:34-35; Hebrews 1:3, 13; 1 Corinthians 15:25-28). The common question posed as a rebuttal is only found in philosophy and not according to scripture.

1 Corinthians 15:27 KJV  For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

Never minding that in Hebrews 1:3 it declares Jesus is the expressed image of his person... Which we will get more into this just a little latter.

Hebrews 1:3 KJV  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

These excuses are also going against other plainly understood passages; like where Jesus says "I and Father are one" (not "in" one), or "he that hath seen me hath seen the Father". So you can not pretend one thing while the word of God says something else. Simply study to show yourself approved as commanded in 2 Timothy 2:15.

John 10:30 KJV  I and my Father are one.

John 14:9 KJV  Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

And some would run to 1 John 5:7 to say "three in one its right there". But they misread because it says these three are one. Quite a difference from in one and are one. The Lord is only ever one God. Even if you go to Genesis 1:26 and say he is talking in third person. "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness"; well yes you see it is "image" and "likeness" not "images" or "likenesses", it is singular just as the passage continues to out line through the very next verse in Genesis 1:27. "So God created man in his own image".
And with all of this and possible rebuttals, again there is plainness of scriptures being ignored. Who is the IMAGE OF GOD?
JESUS is the image of God, the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Colossians 1:14-15 KJV  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  (15)  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Hebrews 1:3 KJV  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Colossians 2:8-9 KJV  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  (9)  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Also consider that if God is three separate persons, you can not think the Father is the father of Jesus according to scripture. This is because scripture tells us that Mary conceived of the Holy Ghost. So if they be separate persons, then according to the scriptures the Holy Spirit is the father, not God the Father.

Matthew 1:20 KJV  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Many people have gone along with the belief of the Trinity. It is a teaching with philosophical origins brought forth by the Catholic church. Every main point for the teachings of the Trinity simply are not found in scripture. They are only applied even added to the word of God for this false teaching of a God in three persons.

To make clear the following phrases are not expressly found in the word of God, the Holy Bible, the Authorized King James Version.

  • God in three persons - not there
  • God the Son - not there
  • God the Holy Ghost - not there
  • the second person of God - not there
  • Jesus is not the Father - not there
  • Jesus is not the Holy Spirit - not there
  • Divine essence - not there
  • essence of God - not there
  • triune God - not there
  • Trinity - not there

    so to use any of these phrases is to imply to and or add to the word of God. And any person using these phrases does not truly believe every word of God is pure. Neither do they put their trust in God to tell them what they need to know, but rather they have turned to the wisdom of man for an understanding of God.
Proverbs 30:5-6 KJV  Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.  (6)  Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
