Gospel Tract PDF - The Blood of the Lamb
Since blood sacrifice is not done commonly today (especially in the Western world) it can be difficult for a lost person to understand why Jesus had to shed his blood for our sins. This tract is meant to give understanding to even the most Bible ignorant person on the street. It just takes faith.
Jesus Christ is the LAMB of GOD (John 1:29, 36; Revelation 5:6, 21:9). The Old Testament laws commanding a sin offering of a lamb is the pattern of the true heavenly things (Hebrews 8:2, 5). There are only a few times in the Bible that sin was not atoned for by BLOOD (Leviticus 5:11-13; Numbers 16:46, 31:50) there is always an exception or two). But ALL sins are purged by blood of Jesus! Jesus' blood is what cleanseth us from sins, if you read the caption verse I John 1:7. THIS tract will help lost people understand the Old Testament law concerning the blood atonement and then lead into how Jesus is the end of the law. All we need to do now is believe the gospel and call upon Jesus! I tried to write this tract so that a person who has no Bible knowledge could understand the need for Jesus' blood. It only takes FAITH in the word of God!
