Job & His Friends: Understanding The Book Of Job
Job 38:3-4 KJV
(3) Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
(4) Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
This is a study that has really helped me to understand what is going on in the book of Job. In regard to all the back and forth between Job and his friends that is. I had presented this same study to the brethren I am in fellowship with, and they said it should be recorded.
A lot of the points in the study are to show how Job's friends had worldly wisdom. And even though a lot of what they said sounded good, it did not make it right according to the will and word of God.
A lot of false convert Christians today are no different.
Job 42:7 KJV
And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
