"Repent, Be saved" is not the gospel

"Repent, Be saved" is not the gospel

When you see any words that are proclaiming the things of God, make sure those words line up with the King James Bible. There are other gospels in the world today because men do not study the word of God but instead they preach what is in their own heart or a tradition of men. "Repent, be saved" is another gospel if you do not add the word of God shewing how they can be saved by the Lord Jesus.

2 Corinthians 11:3-4

3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

^ Remember these verses.

Colossians 2:8-10

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Those who believe on the Lord Jesus are complete in him. Salvation is not by your own works, but it is the gift of God.
Once you believe the gospel then call upon the One who can save you - the Lord Jesus.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Jesus Christ is our Saviour, he is our salvation. No works of righteousness that you do will ever save you.

But,

Romans 10:3-4

3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Here are scriptures shewing how Jesus Christ is the Saviour and that God should be trusted in for salvation not your own works. (Jesus Christ is the God of the Old Testament)

Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Isaiah 43:3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Titus 1:4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
