As Scotty and I (most likely Isaac too!) are shaking the dust off our feet here in Mississippi (Mark 6:11), we are exploring moving options. Since we have two young children we have been tempted to hire a moving company to assist with the move. When searching online for some options, one of the first moving companies that I saw was "Safe Ship Moving Services". I foolishly filled out one of their online quote forms and I got a call within the second of submitting it. While on the phone with the representative I decided to study them out online to see if they were legit. The results surprised me...
Safe Ship Moving Services Complaints
You can read 72 pages of complaints like this. This company is so wicked and evil that I pray the LORD rebuke them.
Mark 3:27 No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
They bind the strong man with a contract. They spoil his house. They prey on the poor in a time that they need support. Such wickedness! This will not go without judgment.
Psalms 10:2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined...15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none. 16 The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
May the Lord rebuke these wicked men. And may others be warned about this net that is laid for the poor.
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN DEALINGS
This is also an exhortation to the brethren to have liberty and responsibility.
II Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
This is where my family almost fell into a snare. Thankfully, the Lord quickly reminded us that we should take the responsibly of moving our possessions into our own hands. Do not hire the lost world to do what is your job to do! If you want the freedom then you have to work to keep it! It will be more work to make multiple trips back and forth from Mississippi to Indiana, but we will know that our belongs are safe. And we will not have to bind ourselves with a contract to pay pay pay. In fact, we will be saving about 90% of what we would have signed up for and 180% of the hidden fees that we would have been trapped into with this specific company. Doing it God's way is far better!
