The Ethiopian Bible: A Book Of Curious Arts
However old the Ethiopian Bible may be does not matter as it is only worthy of being burned. It is full of fables and should be avoided according to the word of God.
Titus 1:13-14 KJV
(13) This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
(14) Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
The biggest selling point for the Ethiopian Bible (and indeed a selling point as it is only made for $$$) is that it claims to have more books than the KJV, and it claims to have "expanded versions of biblical books you thought you knew" ...

... They want to add something to the word of God but the word of God says the following...
Proverbs 30:6 KJV
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
The Ethiopian Bible also claims to be the most complete Bible while still having missing verses such as Acts 8:37. Which is very ironic in that the latter end of Acts chapter 8 is the passage of scripture talking about the Ethiopian eunuch. It is so complete that it has whole missing verses.
Deuteronomy 4:2 KJV
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Then the claim of the age we are in for all modern perversions of the word of God... The Ethiopian Bible also making the claim it comes from the oldest and best manuscripts from the dead sea scrolls. Dun dun DUN!!! Oh aw wow...
It's all a mockery of the things of God...
None of the dead sea scrolls have been found in Jerusalem where the temple of the Lord was at. But they have all been found in the mountains scattered abroad in Israel, the high places in other words, where men worshipped Baal and all the host of heaven in groves through out scripture. Not to mention the idolatry found along side the dead sea scrolls (Qumran). And to go along with this the Ethiopian Bible also has plenty of idolatry in it as well, showing it has no fear of the Lord God in heaven, but they serve another god.
2 Kings 23:5 KJV
(5) And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
There is no difference in the false form of worship men go about today with these perversions of the word of God. They are serving Baal not the Lord Jesus Christ. And books like the Ethiopian Bible need to be burned just as Josiah the King of Judah had done when he put down the idolatrous priests and destroyed these places. (Also to note these forms of false worship changing the word of God produces sodomites, more commonly known as homosexual perverts.)
2 Kings 23:6-7 KJV
(6) And he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.
(7) And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
And keep in mind this is king Josiah in the context of 2 Kings 23. And it is said of him that he did what was right in the sight of the Lord. So to would you do right in the sight of the Lord by burning abominable books such as the Ethiopian Bible.
2 Kings 22:1-2 KJV
(1) Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah of Boscath.
(2) And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.
The opposite of doing right in the sight of the Lord on this matter would be keeping the book and pretending that it is the only truth.
So, ask yourself if you genuinely love God and want to honour Jesus Christ the Lord. Then will you carry out his judgments or not? How will you requite the Lord?
Deuteronomy 32:4-6 KJV
(4) He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
(5) They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
(6) Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
...Do you believe...
...or are you disobedient...
1 Peter 2:7-8 KJV
(7) Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
(8) And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
And if you find it extreme to burn a book consider how that people had done it in the New Testament just as well.
Acts 19:19 KJV Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
