The Medical System's Lies & False Hopes
When you look at scripture it never talks about many of the things the medical system does. And even with Luke the physician, when in scripture does God or any other man say go to Luke to be healed? Most modern medical practices just get you on an endless cycle of drugs taking a pill for a pill for a pill. Yet they cling to Luke the Physician saying it is ok. However, modern medicine has nothing to do with being a physician. A true physician heals you not just pacify you with narcotics. They are physicians of no value.
Job 13:4 KJV But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
Jesus Christ the Lord can heal what the medical practice can not. There was a woman who suffered many medical trials and attempt to heal her that all failed in scripture. Nevertheless when she heard off and saw Jesus she ran to just touch his garment by faith and was healed.
Mark 5:26-27 KJV And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, (27) When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
Luke 8:43-44 KJV And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, (44) Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
There is also king Asa who only sought to the physicians and was not healed. All they did is pacify him at best, as he still died.
2 Chronicles 16:12-13 KJV And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians. (13) And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.
And another king, Hezekiah when he found out he was sick unto death What did he do. He did not turn to physicians but immediately to the Lord and was healed by a lump of figs... haha... try that in modern medicine.
2 Kings 20:1-3 KJV In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. (2) Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, (3) I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
2 Kings 20:7 KJV And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
The Sum Of Things
I mean really medical "science" even admits it is constantly changing. And yet fools like to say "God gave us the science".
Ok first off where does it ever say that in scripture? Please provide a chapter and verse.
Secondly, if God gave us the medical science we have today, then why is it only in the last 200 years or so that we see it being practiced? There are several passages of scripture that warn of people falling away from the faith in the last days. Such as 1 Timothy 4:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:1-7, 4:3-4... Even a warning in 1 Timothy 6:20-21 that some will be professing on science falsely so called erring from the faith.
Thirdly, If God gave it to us then would it not have been mentioned in the scriptures somewhere? And on this second point also, a lot modern medical practices came from the results of bazar torture like trials of the Nazi scientist on the Jews in consent ration camps. I really doubt that is of God at all. Just sounds like man taking another bit out of the tree of knowledge and professing themselves to be wise.
Even with all of this just consider how modern medicine still uses Nehushtan as their emblem... Such a thing that was later condemned by the Lord, because men began to worship the object and not God. The same is still done today. These modern physicians want you to look at them to live but not to look at God.
Numbers 21:9 KJV And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
2 Kings 18:4 KJV He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
Little side note for the thing of Nehushtan; if you look at 2 Kings 18:1 KJV you will see it was king Hezekiah who had destroyed the idol of the brasen serpent people were worshiping in a grove. You know the same king who did not turn to the physicians to be healed but immediately turned to a wall and prayed unto God.
In all of this I am not saying to never go to a hospital. if you have a broken arm or a very bad laceration/cut. Of course go get the help needed, but examine where your faith is, and who your faith is really in.
Have a pure conscience your self with God. We have no such command to avoid doctors or hospitals. That would be a yoke of bondage that is a commandment of men.
What the point in this posting and these video Bible studies is that we should not fool ourselves by saying "God gave us the science". To make it feel better about only turning to physicians. Rather than turning fully unto God in your hour of need.
