The Similitude Of God: The Trinity Is False
James 3:9 KJV
Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
In the plainness of scripture we know and understand how that man was created in the similar likeness as God. Even in Genesis 1:26-27 does the word of God expressly tell us we are made in his image after his likeness. We are similar to him in that we have a spirit, soul and body. God also has a spirit soul and body, but he is only one not three in one, but these three are one (1 John 5:7 KJV) this is similar to every man. Which is the similitude of God, singular, as it is written in James 3:9.
Scripture tells us plainly man has a spirit, soul and body:

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Scripture tells us plainly the Lord had a spirit, soul and body:

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And with this outlined here you should be able to comprehend what the word of God means by saying man is made after the similitude of God in James 3:9 KJV. Even though it is similar it does not mean it is the exact same. As if man's spirit or soul is separate from his body he is dead. But God can separate his soul or spirit from his body and still be alive.
