The World's Pride Problem

The World's Pride Problem
( speaking of the leviathan)
Job 41:34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

This world has a pride problem, but where did it come from and who is behind it?

The answer to these questions is in the King James Bible, the holy scriptures.

Ephesians 2:1-3

1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

This is where the world's pride problem stems from. The devil. Satan's desire is to be like the most High. He is filled with pride.

(Lucifer speaking)
Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

And right now the god of this world is working in the children of disobedience. There are people who walk on this earth with inordinate affection and have established a month of the year called "pride month". They call themselves LGBTQ+. They exalt themselves and desire not the knowledge of God. They harden their minds in pride and do not glorify God.

There is a judgment for these people. The LORD will bring down high looks. He will render to them their desert.

Psalms 18:27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

However, brethren, we should continue to preach the gospel to these people hardened in pride. Whether they are LGBTQ or not, Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. Christ Jesus died for sinners, and he is able to save them if they believe the gospel and call upon his name to be saved. We can love the sodomites we come across by reproving them for their unfruitful works of darkness and preaching to them the gospel of salvation.

Ephesians 5:11-12

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

We, as Christians, must also obey the commandment of the Lord Jesus to cast down every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
