Understanding the Body of Christ
1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Brethren, we are the in the body of Christ. What does it mean to be in Christ? How does this change our lives? How do we behave ourselves toward the other members of Christ?
Remember, that there is one body, and one Spirit. It is through this Spirit, that believers can call each other BRETHREN. We have the same Father, the Lord Jesus Christ by the Spirit of adoption. One Spirit, one Lord, one God and Father of all.
Matthew 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
We are to love the other members of the body in deed and in truth, not in word and tongue. This website is an example of how the body of Christ should work together and strive together for the faith of the gospel.
1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
We should know how to shew our love for one another, with the gifts that are given by the Spirit of God. Please take the time to study the scriptures presented in this study. Open up your King James Bibles and follow along. Chew the meat, grow in grace.
