Understanding the Last Days & the Resurrection (AKA the Rapture)
When rightly dividing the word of God there are many things that come up to be set in order. Regardless there is one big topic that everyone likes to talk about for this. The last days and the resurrection of the body of Christ, the church. Which is commonly but mistakenly known as the rapture.
There are many false teachings on such a topic. Such as asking rather it is pre-trib mid-trib or post-trib, or some nuttiness that says it has all passed already. This is why it is so important to rightly divide it. No matter how good something might sound if it is not consistent with the rest of the word of God then it is to be shunned.
2 Timothy 2:15-16 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (16) But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
This study covers a lot of ground over several points that are note worthy about the catching away of the body of Christ and the return of Christ Jesus. One of the main points to understand is that the Lord has these things that are prophesied of pre planned. God Almighty is not going to tarry, but he will make a short work upon the earth when the time appointed does come.
Hebrews 10:37 KJV For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
He knows when it will come... But do you have the faith and patience to continue waiting with hope?
Romans 8:24-25 KJV For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? (25) But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
