What Does "Even As" Mean in the KJB?
John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

"Even so" and "even as" are both phrases in the King James Bible used to shew equality between two things. My favorite uses of this phrase are when Jesus is speaking about himself and God the Father. Jesus is equal with God because he is God the Father.

I started studying these phrases as soon as I noticed the word "even" in scripture. Now, studies have been posted on "even", "even so", and "even as".

Please, brethren, reach out to me if you have words you would like a study to be done on. (also study to shew thyself approved)

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
