Young Man, Be Bold
Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
Young men, we need to stand up boldly for the Lord Jesus Christ and preach the gospel. If you have been saved by the Lord Jesus, you have been committed the word of reconciliation according to 2 Corinthians 5:19.
2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Do you know what the gospel is? Do you know why the world needs to be saved? Do you know why Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners?
The answers are found in the scriptures and when you know the answer to these questions you will have the boldness to preach the gospel among those who are lost and dead in sins. Here are some verses I often remember while preaching.
Romans 5:8-9
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Mankind needs to be saved from the wrath of God. The wrath of God which cometh upon them because of their sins. Remember this.

- pray to God

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2 Timothy 2:3-4
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
