Young Man, Flee Youthful Lusts!
2 Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
The first videos in this series for young men was to understand how to be an example of the believers according to 1 Timothy 4:12.
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Now, 2 Timothy 2:22 is going to be studied into. The first video for this verse is on "Flee also youthful lusts"
You should already know what some youthful lusts are if you are saved, because they are the reason you needed to be saved. Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners not righteous people.
Now, as a Christian, you should flee these youthful lusts. They will lead to death.
Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Knowing what some of these youthful lusts are according to scripture will help you flee from them.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
